Privacy notice

• Contact & identity details — name, email, phone, home address, and date of birth. Used to run the group: session signups, notifications you opt into, and verifying eligibility under our bylaws (age and Cheverly residency).
• An emergency contact — a name and phone number, used only if you're injured or have a medical issue at a session. Visible to co-chairs only.
• A photo of your government ID — used once, by a co-chair, to confirm your name, age, and address match what you entered. See "How long we keep things" below — the image is deleted right after that check.
• Your signed waiver — the waiver text you agreed to, your typed signature, and the date, kept as a legal record of participation consent.
• Game-night activity — check-ins, games, and points, which power the queue, rosters, and the stats page.

• Other members see only your court name (nickname or first name plus last initial) on rosters, the queue, the scoreboard, stats, and session message boards — never your legal name, contact details, address, or date of birth.
• Co-chairs (admins) can see your registration details in order to run the group. Every admin view of an ID document is individually logged.
• Nobody else. We don't sell, share, or disclose member information to anyone outside the group's administration. Emails are delivered via Resend and data is stored with Supabase — infrastructure providers acting on our behalf.

• ID photos are deleted as soon as a co-chair verifies them — typically within days of registering. We keep only the record that verification happened (who checked it and when), not the image.
• Registration details and waivers are kept while you're a member, as required for running the group and as legal records.
• Want your information removed after leaving the group? Contact the admins (below) and we'll delete your account and details, keeping only what legal records require.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. ID images live in private storage that member accounts cannot access at all — they're viewable only by admins through expiring links, with every view logged. Members sign in with one-time email links; there are no passwords to steal.

Signed-in members can message the admins from their profile page ("Contact the admins"). You can also reach the group at hoops@cheverlyhoops.com. If we ever believed member data had been compromised, we would notify affected members promptly, consistent with Maryland law.
